PAHIATUA FACTORY

SATISFACTORY SEASON. At their meeting yesterday the directors of the Pahiatua Co-opera-tive Dairy 7 Co.. Ltd. considered the balance-sheet for the past season, Sat-sfactory .balances are available in both the milk and home-separat-ed cream departments, and it was resolved that additional payments should be made to all milk and cream suppliers early next month. The financial year of the company closed only at the end of last month, so that the promptitude with which the results of the year will be available to suppliers is a matter for congratulation to Yliose responsible for this prompt finalisation. The annual report and the audited bal-ance-sheet will very shortly be available to suppliers, whether shareholders or otherwise. The directors of the company have resolved the advance for but-ter-fat for August and September to suppliers of home-separated cream shall .be Is 7d per lb, and in the cheese department Is 6d will be advanced. These are very satisfactory advances indeed, and must be most encouraging to the suppliers of the company, whose output is steadily increasing, large quantities of both milk and cream being delivered daily to the factory 7 at Mangamutu.
