The racehorse Pickaninny, owned by K. W. Spencer, died during the night. He was raced on Wednesday, and on Thursday morning was found to b„ amiss. It was discovered that bis month was badly burned, and it is suggested that the animal was doped with Croton oil. Inquiries are being made.
