Lindholm, aged 55. clad only in a singlet, with bloodstains on the head, wan found B ing in the doorway of his house. Murder is 'suggested as it appears that Lindholm was struck on the head. Three men were arrested f:n drunkenness pending further inquiry.

Joyce Cooper, aged 4. who wandered away on Christmas Eve. has boon found dead by a constable and a tracker :.t the foot of the Stirling Ranges, four miles aw; y. Twenty-one trackers, fourteen mounted police, and a hundred men scoured the. hush all night and Christmas Day.- The country i« very rugged. It is believed the child died on Wednesday.
