HALL AND CONTENTS DESTROYED. Electric Telegraph—Press Association EKETAHUNA. This Dry. The public hall at- Alfred ton. and contents were totally destroyed by fire last night. The origin is a mystery. A Xmia-s tree was held on Saturdav . night. This wr.-s the lasj, use of the building, which was recently remodelled, and the Jpis to the district is rather severe.
