From the morning bulletin it may be interpreted that the King continue to make good font slow i*ogress. Lord Dawson stayed only a itew minutes at th'e Palace this afternoon. No statement was issued. Prinoe George arrived at Southampton and was welcomed by the Mayor. The Berangaria's auction of slices of the Prince’s birthdiay oak© realised £l,OBl for the distressed miners fund. The Prince, on his arrival at Cherbourg, refused the offer of an Imperial Airway’s seaplane to carry him to Southampton. LONDON, December 21 The King was permitted a private circulation of a gramophone record of His Majesty’s last utterance liefore his illness at the opening of the Tyne Bridge. The record is to he preserved in the British Museum.
