Ashley, and the heads of their departments regarding ihe diminution of street noises largely due to motors and motor horns, the Ministers decided to draft regulations abating the nuisance after Ashley had conferred with the motoring organisations and public authorities. Sir W. Joynson-Hicks will advise the police how to ensure observance- of the regulations.
