"NOT UNDERSTOOD"

OMDAH AND HIS WONDERFUL ART—AN AMAZING PERFORMANCE. “Not. understood,” might well he written of Omdali and liis amazing mind-reading act. which clearly mystified the large audience in the King’s Theatre last evening. One could only sit and gasp at the almost infallible accuracy of the answers of this master mind which bordered on the super-natural. Sitting Mind-fold on the stage Omdah will faithfully describe any article submitted to his assistant in the body of the hall. He invites freely any questions on any topic to lie solved, and duly proceeds to confound his audience by visualising in the crystal glass the very information which is sought. The act is little short of marvellous. Written queries are answered in rapid succession and each and every envelope is burnt before your eyes. Yet “Omdah” who dees not handle tlie questions in any way, not only reads your query, having the various writers verified, but replies giving you the information desired. Omdah was always ready tor those who tried to put it across him, and his replies given without a moments hesitation, brought forth bursts of laughter. “Is my girl fast?” “Yes,” was the reply, “but. you are having no trouble in keeping up.” Omdah also collaborated with Ins medium, Mr Carter, in an amazing exposition of mental-telepathy, giving dates on coins and naming selected cards. He also did lightning calculations, describing articles, handed to his assistant from patrons in the audience, and other tests too numerous and varied to mention. The audience were often in wonderment-, and often in laughter. The mystic provided ample entertainment.

Omdah will give a magic turn for tlio children at the matinee on Saturday afternoon. Questions will be answered. In the evening lie will appear again, and patrons are invited to bring questions.
