Escra good halfbred ewe hoggets made to 34s lOd; medium to good halfbred ewe hoggets to '24s; good halfbred wether hoggets* 22s 7d to 24s 7d; good 4, 6 and 8-tooth three-quarter-bred ewes, to 33s 9d; good 4,6, and 8-tooth halfbred ewes, to 335. Fat sheep : A slightly smaller entry, and prices were a shade easier It was a fair quality entry, with some outstanding drafts. Extra prime wethers made to 49s 7d; prime heavy wethers, 38s Gd to 40s 6d; medium wethers, 34s 6d to 38s; light wethers. 30s to 34s ; extra prime ewes, 39s to 44s lOd; prime ewes. 33s to 38s; medium ewes, 29s 6d to 32s 6d ; tight ewes, 27s to 295; aged ewes, 25s to 26s 6d. Fat cattle: A heavy entry of 620 head of medium to indifferent quality. A good sale throughout, with little difference from last week, though prices were more uniform. Rest heef made to 435; prime, 38s to 41s 6d ; medium, 34s 6d to 37s 6d; heavy, 34s 6d to 37s 6d ;_best heifer to 39s ; best cow, 34s to 3is 6d ; secondary , 30s to 33s ; and rough down to 26% per 100 lb. Extra prime heavy steers made to £23 7s 6d ; prime heavy steers £l6 10s to £l9: medium-weight prime steers. £l4 10s to £l6 ss.
