Eleetiic Telegraph—Frees Association TRENTHAM, This Day. There was a gale during the night and heavy rain, but the morning is fine and cold.
The Taranaki match, 800 yards, is proceeding. The changing light troubled the marksmen. ■ otherwise conditions are good. Shooting started at 9 o’clock.
Caughley (KaroriL Bramlev (Ashburton), Mclver (Petone) and F. Bolton (Opaki) registered the possible. A time limit of fifteen minutes was enforced. Bramley took six, and Caughley eight minutes. The long ranges are affecting the leading positions for the King’s fifty final, which will not he available till late this afternoon.
