BUSH REPS. TRAINING

The Bush reps, have been in training for their match with Horowhenua on Wednesday since Thursday morning under Mr Ned Perry and that gentleman has already worked a marvellous improvement in them. The most pleasing feature is that the three Galvins, including Pat, are in training too, as well as Percy Humphrey. K. Perry, of Konini, is another forward included in those to train.

The training, has been done on the Recreation Ground and the weather has been atrocious. This morning the players were taken to the drier Mangatainoka Domain. Mr E. (Teddy) Roberts, the famous ex-All Black arrived in Pahiatua to-day and will coach the backs. Mr A. E. Cooke was to have done so but he was badly knocked about in Saturday’s shield match and it is not expected that he will come now. The masseur, Mr O’Donnell, arrived from Masterton this morning. Mr Perry will announce the team to-morrow and the following fifteen seem to have the beet prospects of inclusion: Udy; Woolland, P. Humphrey, Ferguson; M. Galvin (1), Kelleher (2 )i P. Galvin; Kerrison, Bowering; Whitehead; Moynahan, Mo; rison • Mahoney, Rerry or Ware; and J. Galvin.
