The Addington market to-d--> r drew slightly smaller entries in lppst classes of stock, and generally there was a firming sale, the recent decline being recovered. Store Sheep: A fairly heavy hogget entry with a showing of sound-mouth-ed ewes. Four-tooth crossbred ewes sold at up to 34s 3d. It was a free sale throughout for all classes. Good evossbred wether hoggets 17s to 19s 3d, crossbred ewe hoggets 23s ltd to 26s 3d, cull crossbred ewe hoggets 16s 9d, good m.s. crossbred hoggets 21s 6d, m.s. crosshred hoggets 15s to 17s Id, Corriedale wether hoggets If*,, Corriedale ewe hoggets 24s to 27s lid. four, six, and 8-toothed halfbred wethers 24s to 26s 6d, four, six, and eight-toothed halfbred ewes 28s 9d to 29s 6d, aged crossbred ewes 13s 5d to I6s 9d, s.m. crossbred ewes 25s to 26s 3d, four-toothed crossbred ewes 32s 2d to 34s 4d, two-toothed crossbred ewes 29s 3d. Fat Lambs: Only 500 entered, and a keen sale. Extra prime lambs 33s to 41s, prime lambs 29s 6d to 325. medium lambs 26s to 295, light lumijs 23s 6d to 255, store lambs 22s to 235. Fat Sheep: A good quality entry. The market opened w-ell, slipped back over the middle stages, and concluded firmly. All round values were better by Is t<* Is 6d per head than last week. Some show wethers made from 50s to 55s lOd. extra prime wethers 38s to 455. prime wethers 33s 6d to 37s 6d, wediuni wethers 29s to 32s 6d, light wethers 25s 6d to 28s 6d, extra prime ewes to 37s lOd, prime ewes 28s to 32s 6d, medium ewes 23s 6d to 27.5, light ewes lid to 17s. Fat Cattle: A mixed quality entry of smaller size than usual. Values, improved by up to 25s per head for good beef, inferior being unchanged. Best beef in a few cases made to 37s 6d per 1001 b, good prime 34s to 360 Id, heavy weight 31s to 335, medium 29s to 31s, and other quality from 21s to 28s. Extra prime heavy steens £lB to £2O 12s 6d, prime heavy steers £ls 10s to £l7 15s. crime medium weight steers £l2 15s to £ls. medium quality steers £8 15s to £l2 15s. rough steers £6 15 to £8 10s, extra prime heifens to £l3 12s 6d, prime heifers £9 to £ll.
