Brookes sustained a broken leg and injuries to his arm in a collision at Okauia, near Matamata, between liis motor-cycle and a motor lorry. Alfred Little, 32, manned, with five children, succumbed last night to injuries received through being run over by a drill when the horses he was working at "VYaitetuna got out of control. Tutu Kingi died in the Waikato hospital this morning, through burns sustained by an explosion of a tar boiler at Putaruru earlier in the week.
