DUKE AND DUCHESS

DEPARTURE FOR LVUSBANE. Electric Telegraph—Press Association SYDNEY, April 4. The Duke and Duchess of York departed for Brisbane to-day. They called at Newcastle where in spite of pouring rain they were greeted by huge, cheering crowds. The Duke made a mountain trip, dressed in a sac suit and slouch hat. The train stopped at Lawson to water, and the Duke got out of his carriage unrecognised and stood outside the big crowd, an amused spectator of the ovation in his honour.
