WEDDING BELLS.

JONES—EBBETT. A quiet, but pretty wedding took place in the Makomako Church, on December 24th, when Edith, third daughter of Air and Airs C. Ebbett, of Alakomako, was married to Ronald, eldest son off Air and Airs E. Jones, of Palmerston North. Rev. C. A Poston being the officiating minister. The Church was daintily decorated with white flowers by friends of the bride, and Airs W. J. Tait, sister of the bride, played the Wedding Afaroh.

The bride, who was- given away by her father, wore a smart but simple frock of fawn silk repp, with hat of grey tulle. Slie carried a- beautiful bouquet of white roses and maidenhair fern, this being the gift of her brother-in-law. Air J. Graham.

The bridesmaid was AT iss Daphne F,hbett, sister of the ‘bride, in a frock of shell pink mr. rooe-in and white hat and currying a bouquet ow* pink and white roses and maidenhair and f;s-

pnrncyis fern. Mr Wood, of Thinnythorne, was the host man. After the ceremony the bridal party and <iiiests motored to the residence of the bride’s parents where a sumptuous wedding; breaikfa.st was dispensed, A feature of the table decorations was Ihc beautiful three-

tiered wedding cake which wns made by the bride’s - sister. Airs J. Craliam. The bride and bridegroom left later bv motor for their honeymoon amid the pood wishes of their friends.
