THE DOLLY SISTERS.
DAMAGES AGAINST MOULIN ROUGE. PARIS, December 6. The question of whether a theatre lias the right to put the names of other artists on the posters in letters as big as those of the principal star was decided in a Paris court to-day. The Dolly Sisters were awarded £3,660 damages and costs against) the Moulin Rouge. The sisters argued that under their contract their names should eclipse all the "others on th© paybill. The Dolly Sisters were engaged as principal stars in a revue, anj on the ground that the revue was named “The Mistinguett Revue,” and the terms of the contract had been broken, they broke their engagement.
The court held that the sisters were justified in their action, and that although their names figured on the bill in larger letters than those given to Mistinguett, the artistic value and reputation of the sisters had not been satisfied in accordance with the terms of tbe contract.
