ORDERS FLOCKING IN. Electric Telegraph—Press Association LONDON. January 4. The “Daily Express” states that orders amounting to millions of pound's have been placed with the heavy trades in the Birmingham district since the New Year. Business men believe that the orders herald the beginning of a trade boom. Manufacturers are all intensely optimistic, some pointing ont that they are already doing more business tlion at any other time during the last two years.
