The police raided a chemist's shop at Caulfield and seized a printing ])i'css and 100 forged £5 notes. Three men have been arrested. The police allege that the men in a statement said that they were going to print £12,500 worth of notes on Friday and circulate them while the-banks were closed for the Christmas holidays. If the plan succeeded they intended circulating a similar amount on the following Friday.
