The editor asserts that the reporters who are entitled to 70s, received 37s 6d weekly to 30s lid. When they secured an increase to 80 per cent of the union rates, one of the most highly paid men was dismissed and a boy brought m his place. The firm denies the allegations. Journalists are not supporting the strike.
