The new bulbs have dual 21-candle power filaments about oneeighth of an inch apart and equidistant from the bulb axis Two distinct and separate beams of light are used ; the upper beam, which is the driving beam, is produced by the lower filament. By switching to the upper nlament a depressed beam of full intensity is obtained, and the light tilted downwards on to the road, this may be used when approaching other vehicles or when driving in town. THE NEW STUDEBAKER AIR CLEANER. The object of the new air cleaner is to separate dust from the air and deliver clean pure air through the carburetter to the cylinders. By having clean, pure air going through the carburetter and engine, the abrasive action caused by road dust on the cylinuer walls and pistons is eliminated. THE NEW STUDEBAKER OIL FILTER. The object of the oil filter is to thoroughly cleanse the lubricating oil of the engine from particles of carbon deposit and metal which make their appearance during the running of the engine, and to ensure that all lubricating oil delivered to the bearings is thoroughly clean. THE NEW STUDEBAKER PETROL FILTER. The object of the new petrol filter is to thoroughly safeguard the jets of the carburetter from possible blockage by grit, water, etc. found in the petrol.
