VISIT TO FIJI. « (Received 11.40 a.m.) Electric Telegraph—Press Association SUVA, This Day. The Parliamentary delegates were the guests of the Governor and local residents. They visited Vani, Level, and the mission station at Rewa. “Mekes” in their honour were given by the Fijians. Governor Hutson expressed the hope that the visitors would if possible persuade Australia to remove the banana duty. The delegates were greatly impressed by Fiji’s potentialities.
