“TANGO RED” HATS. NEARLY OUTPACING WOMEN. Electric Telegraph—Press Association LON DON, September 9. Tlie Daily Express announces that “tango red” liats will be the most ■fashionable man's headgear. The president of the National Association of Outfitters said: "Men want more and more colour in their clothes. They can no longer criticise women. They art- nearly outpacing them. Can anybody imagine men five vc-ars ago wearing such - ck-. tut,, pullovers, and plus fours?” Lady Dutf-Wordon opened tli Russian Boot Exhibit on at Biimingham, where winter sain pies were revealed, in zigzag aid cubist designs, ethers with tur-topj>ed and decorated collars, and others again of the familiar <oneertina type. Lady Dufi-Gordon said:
“laist year the men complained of unsightly. Russian boots. Lots of girls showed a hare leg above the boot. Doubtless, despite his protest, man was attracted by this uncovered portion.”
