DEATH OF A MAORI. J'lectric Telegraph—Tress Association OPOTIKI, This Day. A youth, Rama Te Pinini, was prodding a horse in the hind legs with a pitchfork, when the horse let fly, both hoofs striking Pinini a terrific blow in the stomach, fracturing the liver and causing severe haemorrhage. Pinini died soon after arrival at the hospital.
