The professional golf tournament opened this morning in dull weather, the course and green being m excellent order. Ham (ver) land Shaw (2) led off, followed by Hood (2) and Blair (4), Butters (scr) and Brooks (scr), Greig (6) and Clements (2), Moss (2) having A. Smith (captain of the local club) as partner. This morning’s play is Colonel Handicap (bogey).
