THE KING’S THEATRE.
KATHERINE MACDONALD IN “THE BEAUTY MARKET.” “The Beauty AlarkVT, ” declared by dramatic critics to he the most appealing society drama presented within the last few' years, will form the headline attraction at the King’s for to-night with Katherine MacDonald, the world’s most beautiful woman, in the stellar role. Coming close on. the heels -of the “Thunderbolt,” which established Aliss MacDonald firmly in the minds of the public as a talented actress as well as a real beauty, “The Beauty Market” cannot fail to please. She is shown as a society butterfly, who is deliberately placing herself on the matrimonial market in order to gain a high position in upper society. Unlike the usual story pf this sort, she does so without compunction and with ncj misgivings. The plot is. unusual in this respect. In support of Aliss AlacDonald is Roy Stew art and other well known players including Robert Brower and Kathleen Kirkham. Extra fine supports are listed for screening with the star. A good comedy subj'ect is also added as a foil to the serious side. To-night will be the only chance of witnessing this lavishly produced photoplay.
