CLAIM FOR DAMAGES
SETTLED OUT OF COURT. Electric Telegraph—Press Association Gisborne, This Day. When the case of Paterson v. The National Piano Company, Auckland, a claim for £3OOO for damages was called this morning, Mr Myers stated that a settlement had been reached, the defendant company agreed to the payment of a certain sum, which was considered satisfactory to both parties. The jury was consequently discharged.
