MILK FOR SCHOOL CHILDREN
Dr. IVrcy \Y. Kent, M.0.H., in his annual report to the llarrVtown Council mentions that the extensive use of dried milk during the hist I hree or four years ha-; not only prevented a shortage of milk-supply to i’ll children under five years, but has for many underfed and maraismic children have developed into strong and healthv beings in consequence of this bonofioient provision. Me adds that in most of the schools debilitat'd children on being brought to the notice of the School Medical Officer are given a. cup of licit milk each morning. For this purpose- each soli cud is supplied with a quantity of cried milk. A marked improvement was noticed in must of the children.
