The German Government had claimed that 1,500.000 tons of merchandise had been delivered to die A lies in accordance with, tlie Peace Treaty, and had demanded credit for seven thousand million marks for it. Tlie Reparation Commission has rejected those figures, and the Germans now admit that they had included 700,000 tons in error, and that a further were captures seized by the Allies. It is agreed that only 2,000,000 tons will be credited, and the calculations for the value will be on a lower basis.
