The Boxing Association’s elimination contests preparatory to the tournament commencing to-morrow did not eventuate owing to amateur boxers going on strike in consequence of a dispute regarding complimentary tickets for their trainers. The committee subsequently announced that it had suspended those concerned in the strike.
