There is growing evidence (writes a London correspondent) of the usefulness of the weekly cabled news summary from New Zealand as received by the High Commissioner and eircui'ated by him among tilie leading newspapers of the country. In a few of these journals—the “Daily Telegraph’ being one —one is sure to find the complete summary of news as it is received. In the majority, space only is yet found for the items of general interest, but they are welcome. One may perhaps trace the wide use of this cabled news to the conclusions arrived at bv the Press Delegates in Canada —namely, that more rows from overseas, should find a place in the press of the Mother Country.
