AIR D. AIORIA IFFY'S ENTER PRISE.
For several weeks past carpenters have been busily engaged in making alterations to the Commercial stables until the building lias now taken the appearance of a commodious and up-to-date auction mart. This, work lias been carried out for Air D. Aloriarty who intends holding his first sale in tho building to-morrow. The appointments have been given careful consideration, the object being to give buyers every opportunity of viewing the goods auctioned, in comfort. A wide passage-way through the build ing will enable vehicles of any description to pass right through and also unload with very little trouble Tho poultry pens are the latest and the pig pens are constructed in the open and in a manner that does away wit'll any handling. Six well ventilated; loose boxes and stalls for bo,rued are also provided for tho convenience of customers. Besides the numerous other alterations, which obliterate, be,, voiid doubt any appearance of “stable,” the front parto f the buildincr lias yet to bo altered. The office at present oeeupied by Ai rJ. A, Walsh will be taken over and used as tho land agency. Fan lights < tc. will be put in and when finishod, the premised should lx' an. ornament hr> tho town.
