A curious decision in the Criminal Court has quashed “the sentence of twenty-months’ mpriosnment imposed on Lieut. Y'ogel in connection with the murders of Herr Liebknecht and Rosa Luxemburg, on the ground that a law was subsequently passed exempting guilty people who had offended for the purpose of preventing high treason. Vogel escaped to Holland and never served his sentence.
