UNFORTUNATE NEW ZEALANDERS

STRANDED IN SYDNEY

Electric Telegraph—Pres® Association Wellington, Last Night. It was ascertained here to-day that There are 200 New Zealanders and between 300 anil 400 immigrants stranded in, Sydney, owing to the shipping dislocation, while there are about 25<l tourists desirous of coming over. A boat will hi* leaving Sydney to-morrow, and one a week lienee, and it is expected that they will accommodate 700. Meantime the New Zealand Government agent in Sydney has been empowered to give- relief to rally necessitous eases. As to the accommodation available, the order of the coming across of those stranded will he: First the New Zealanders, then the immigrants, and then tho tourists.
