Waif street trading totalled Cl .- •'IOO 000. Shares wore vorv active, featuring further declines in specialties. United States Steel touched a new low-selling record. Large blocks were sold at 70 5-8 dollars, TT” : Slates Steel closed at 77 5-8 dollars. The cotton mark'd also broke a new tow record. March .selling less than 13, chiefly owing to the unsettled conditions.
