YESTERDAY’S POLL. CARRIED BY RIG MAJORITY. The pod taken among the Pahiatua County ratepayers on the proposal to raise £l5O per annum by rates for trie upkeep ot Carnival Park resulted in a majority of 164 for the proixvsal. A fair amount of interest was Vi splayed at the County office polling booth, twi less than 214 votes out of •the total being east there. The result of the polling is as fol ows:— For the proposal 236 Against the proposal 72 Majority for 164 Informal 3
