AEROPLANE CRASH.
ACCIDENT AT GOULBURN. Goulburn, May, 30. The Avro ’plane piloted by Stanley Harper, and carrying two passengers crashed shortly after 10.30 thi.'s nmrnimg on the local racecourse. The machine was badly damaged, but the passengers escaped injury. Heyide, of Ninrmitabeil. and a Mr Gibson. The flatter intended flying to Melbourne. The pilot’s face was scratched. Apparently the damage to the plane is beyond repair. C Y LIN DER S MISFIRE. A MELBOURNE MISHAP Melbourne May 30. 'An Avro jaeropl'ajne, piloted by Major Shaw, crashed into a fence while flying from the Glen Huntley aerodrome to-day. The’plane bud only been brought 'out recently by Major Shaw. As it was 'caving the ground some of tbe cylinders of the engine misfired, and t.lie machine was unable to rise to any height. The 'plane struck a notice lioard on the aerodrome ground, and as the engine continued, the 'plane went on. just missed a low siicd, anil dashed info a fence in Meranda-a venue. Needier Major Shaw nor bis passenger wince ran.-o Was not announced. was hurt.
