The Labour Conference decided that in view of the monopoly in production and distribution of woollen goods the State be requested to establish woollen mills or alternatively to empower municipalities to do so and also distrusted the Labour party to repeal soldiers’ preference legi lation as underlying a principle iniquitous and impracticable.
