THE DAVIS CUP.

FIRST MATCH ARRANGED. London, June 10. The first round of the Davis Cup matches, Britain versus South Africa, has been provisionally arranged for July 25, 26 and 2R at Eastbourne. All English and overseas tennis circles are grateful to the Australian authorities for their sporting action as regards the re-draw. Al the Australian tennis players, under the popular captaincy of Do list, an* getting splendid press notices, and arc equally great favourites at all the centres visited. Tri'hiites are paid to their sportsmanship on and off the courts.
