An Austrian communique states: The Russians made extraordinary and unsuccessful efforts to shake the Allied line. Superior forces attackde us south-west of Doanawatra between Captul and Yzernahora, soutli-west of Rrzeznny. They were repulsed. Numerous waves of troops attempted a master-stroke at Lutsk. Tlie attacks mostly broke down. Where successful our counter-attacks threw them out.
