There was a good attendance <>n the Pahiatua green on Saturday afternoon, when with pleasant woatlier condition and a good green, enjoyable bowling was indulged in. The principal game was a challenge match between a team of “Schoolmasters,” comprising Messrs Stevenson, W. Rritiand. Bringanf, and Scott fs;, and a team of “barbarians,” skipped bv the veteran, W. Ransom, supported by Messrs J. S. Rissett, P. Thomson and H. McWherry.
