The Commissioner of Crown Lands notifies** that tenders will be received up till -1 p.m. on Tuesday, 14th March, for leases of Section tio, Mnng&tainoka Y.S. Owing to the late arrival of a shipment of white boots and shoes, Mr J. K. Carpenter has decided to quit them, and is offering these new goods at sale price until the end of February.

Clark and Manifold's drapery sale continues to attract numerous buyers. who are sinutring great bargains. The sale is a genuine one, and it ; s claimed that only real quality goods ari' being offered to tin' public.

An unreserved ('leafing sale is to lie romhiced bv Mr J. D. C. Crewe, on behalf of Mrs K . Hall, at hor residence in Julia street, (near Dr. Dawson's, Pabiatua'), on Tuesday next. 22nd inst. Included in the sale is a fine upright piano, piano stool, dinner waggon, duchess chest and washstand to match, toilet set, brown carpet square, dining and other tables, dining and other chairs crockery, glassware, kitchen utensils, wringer, wash tubs, garden tools and e lot of other good and useful household furniture. The auctioneer advises that the furniture is in good order. Particulars appear on page 8.
