The quality was not up to that ot last sale, much wool being ,greasj. This was dne to a larger proportion being back countTv wool. Jhe prices were well up to those of he W ellington sale, and wore as follows: r ino crossbred lS}d. finer. Romney lambs 19 Jd. scoured croes- \ lp 1 23*d. crossbred up to lt)}d. bellies 14d. scoured up to 16*d beThes 14d scoured halfbred 20*d crossbred hoggets up to 13»d, crossbrml -ewcs up to 15Jd. A line of erossbr.xl hrst lambs brought the h.gh price of 19d. Many lots were passed in as vendors’ reserve were not reached.
After the dinner adjournment, bidding was very sW* and many lots were p.iss**d Tin*tv* w« s « drop of W ,n crossbred flevrs. but in other lots prax's were maintained.
