The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Company, Ltd., repoi't having held a, most successful sale of dairy cows, etc., on behalf of Mr C. A. Noilson, of Mangatniuoka. The attendance was not large, but bidding wnspirited throughout the sale. The cows brought from (Jb 10s to I I 10s. averaging the satisfactory price of £9 per head. Heifers, in calf, made from Lt 12s (>d to 07 17 (si : store cows, £4 bs; weancr heifers, £1 fis; w hile the. sundries sold well up to clearing sade rates.
