Air and Mrs C Baker-Gabb, of Wellington, recently arrived in Hast- - ings and intend making their home there. Before going to Wellington, Air and Airs Baker-Gabb lived for many years in Pahiatua. Air F. Knapp, of the Maugatamoka cheese factory staff, has received the appointment of manager of the Ohau cheese factory in the Levin district. Air Knapp, who has been connected with the Alaugatainoka staff for nearly five years, has been first assistant for the past three seasons. His piosi- ’ ‘on at the Mangatainoka factory will be filled by Air H. Anderson, formerly seoond assistant, while Air B. Harvey has been appointed second as. sistant. During his residenoe in Mangatainoka, Air Knapp has been a prominent sport, having been collected with various athletic iustitutions. He leaves to take up his new duties to-morrow.
