THE DANDIES.

The Dandies appeared before a large audience at the King's Theatre last evening and had an excellent reception. In the various concerted items, duets, part songs, and individual numbers, the members of the company displayed great talent, and the items were highly applauded. Of the ladies. Aliss Linda Bradford delighted the audience with her charming songs, and she was loudly rivalled. Afiss Ethel AValker and Miss Naomi AlcQuoin also possess voices of quality, and their selections were above the average. Among the male performers. Air Roland Henry was favourite. His most popular contributions were: “And His Language Failed Him,” “Returning Home at 2 p.m.,” and “Th e Village Blacksmith.” Air George Taylor and Air Andrew Pace were successful in their comedy songs. Air G. Taylor's song, “Beautiful Girlie Girls,” was received with much appreciation. Air David Lyle’s rendering of “I Hear A'ou Calling Ale” was a. particularly pleasing number. The humorous quartets, by Messrs Roland Henry, H. Webster, Andrew Pace and Geo. Taylor were most amusing. “The Pleasant Country Side” was another item in which tho Dandies struck the right chord. Altogether, tho programme was a very enjoyable one.
