EKETAHUNA CATTLE FAIR.

Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd.. Afasterton, report having held their annual cattle fair at Eketahnna on Friday, 28th inst., when there was a large and representative attendance from the Wairarapa, Manawatn ano surrounding districts. There was a big yarding of cattle, which came forward in nice condition and met wLi keen competition, especially fan grown cattle, of which we report practically a total clearance under the hammer. A nice line of sappy bullocks, offered on account of Mr AV. H. Heckler, Mangamahoe, made £7 ss, and another line of similar quality realised £7 3s. Other quotation., are as follows: 3 and 4-year bullocks £7 3s to £7 ss, 3-year do. £0 12s to £7, small 3-year do. £6 to £6 10s, 2-year steers £4 3s, £4 13s to £5, 12 and 15-month steers £2 17s to £3 ss, 2-year heifers £3 16s, yearling do. £2 16s to £3, fat and forward station cows £5 9s to £5 9s 6d, hulls to £5.
