A STEAMER FOUNDERS
Electric Telegraph —Press Association. Copyright. (Received this day at 10.40 a.m.) London, This Day. A severe gale is raging in tho Channel and on the West Coast. Tho wind caused the collapse of a crane in Vickers’ shipyard at Barrow. Two men were killed and 12 injured. The steamer St. Patrick foundered at Star Point. Five of the crew were drowned. The action .of the sea has caused great inroads on the coast at W byl (?) which threatens to destroy the railway.
