BOXING CARNIVAL.
TO-AIORROW NIGHT
The Olympic Theatre is exiiectod to contain a big gathering of lovers of the noble art to-morrow evening, when the third and final amateur boxing tournament of the season will be held. Tho tournament will he under new management, and details have been completed to ensure pat rolls being rewarded with some good sport. The prices also have been fixed at a moderate figure. There w ill he seven lx>uts, the leading one of which will he the contest between E. Knapp, of Mangiatainoka, and H. MoNeU, ’ of AVoodville. This is expected to be an excellent exhibition, and supporters of both lads are very confident. Another ding-dong go is anticipated between \\ . Ryan, of Hukanui, and R. Kelly, the local lexer. The Other contestants have all been well matched. The referee will lie Air Peter Cook.
