A STRANGE REPORT

Vancouver, Last Night. The steamer Alarama brings a report that the German cruiser Cormorant at Suva asked permission to send important cables to Germany. The captain of the British cruiser Prometheus refused, giving the German warship a brief time to leave the harbour. The latter left.
