Ensign Tatton, who has been u charge of the Woodville branch of the Salvation Army for some time, has received notice of transfer. Air A. Crooke, S.AI., who is relieving Air L. G. Reid, while the lanter is engaged on a commission in the north, presided over tue sitting of the Court to-dav.

Air James Galvin, of Hamua, has returned from an extended visit to Australia. The trip was undertaken on account of ->lr Galvin's health, and he has benefited by the change. Air Carey, late district manager at Alasterton for the Loan Company for the Wairarapa and Bush Districts, who has been transferred to Feilding, was in Pahiatua yesterday. His successor, Air Spain, of Feilding, was also a visitor here.

The resignation of Captain AY. H. Nelson as a trustee of the AYoodville Drill-shed Reserve is gazetted. Captain J. H. Cronin and Lieutenants H. P. Horne and G. AY. AA'ardrop have been appointed trustees. Air A. AA'. Chambers, of the staff of the Union. Bank of Australia, who is on three weeks' leave, will afterwards be on relief duty at Opotiki for three weeks, during which time Air Nelson will be on the Pahiatua staff. The news reached AYoodville on Saturday of a rather serious accident to Air Foot’s mother ami sister. The accident happened at AYairoa, both ladies being thrown out of a trap. Aliss Foot was seriously injured, the trap going over her body.
