Electric Telegraph—Press Association. Copyright. New York, This Day. A balloonist named Peller, made an ascent at Oklahama. He was descending in a parachute when the bar broke at a height of 3000 feet. He held the broken ends to within 100 feet of the ground, and then fell and was killed.
